About Intrepid
Intrepid Travel is an Australian-based tour operator specializing in small-group adventure travel.
My Role
I provided design solutions for Intrepid’s four main websites, focusing on UX improvements and A/B testing for the main site. Additionally, I led the revamp of the internal Agent Portal, used globally by travel agents to manage bookings, commissions, and tailored tours.
The Problem
The Agent Portal was outdated and underutilized due to poor usability and misaligned features with agent needs. To identify pain points, I conducted video interviews with agents worldwide, gathering region-specific and universal requirements. Insights included the need for better commission tracking and tools for creating customized tours.
Design Approach
Using the Double Diamond framework, I implemented:
User Research & Analysis: Identified key pain points and user goals.
